Source qualification
Synthesis partners are audited for documented process controls before a single lot is purchased.
Independent assay
Samples go to a third-party lab for HPLC identity and purity, peptide content, moisture and endotoxin.
Spec review
Results are checked against our published minimums. Below spec means the lot is rejected, not discounted.
Publication
The COA is attached to the product page with its lot number, so what you read matches the vial you receive.
CERTIFICATE
Reading a certificate of analysis
Purity and peptide content measure different things. Purity is the proportion of the peptide peak relative to all peaks in the chromatogram. Peptide content is how much of the vial’s mass is actually peptide rather than residual salts and water. A vial can be 99% pure and still be 80% peptide by mass which is why both figures appear on every Northstar COA, alongside moisture and endotoxin.
